Meeting Wednesday 1st September 6pm
The first meeting of this academic year is coming up, and I would like to invite everyone to attend. SATPE meetings are a forum to discuss and support PE teachers by providing opportunities to share best practice, overcome obstacles in our profession as well as meeting other like-minded individuals. All meetings are open to every member, new and old, just get involved. This can be anything from just listening in, contributing to decisions and discussions or looking for a role within the committee. If you would like to join please email me directly on President@SATPE.co.uk for the meeting details.

European School Sports Day – Thursday 23rd September
European School Sports Day (ESSD) https://www.essd.eu/ Is a European PE initiative, encouraging virtual interactive competition between schools across the continent. Young people from Scotland would take part and compete in a virtual leader board against pupils all over Europe! This is a fantastic initiative we would be looking to support across schools in Scotland.
I am delighted to say Kevin Scott and Nicole Cairney have taken up the roles as our ESSD Co-ordinators they can be contacted by emailing ESSDScotland@SATPE.co.uk should you have any queries about the event itself. We will be sending an information guide to all members with ideas and support in how to get involved.
SATPE is the association for PE teachers, the aim is, and always will be, to provide one voice, and as much help and support as possible for all practitioners. If you would like to get involved, or simply have another query, please do not hesitate to contact me.
