Scottish women & girls in sport week is an annual initiative which celebrates the amazing work going into girls’ sport, the progress around girls’ participation, and the incredible role models making it happen.
We want to celebrate all forms of sport and physical activity this Scottish Women and Girls in Sport Week. Movement is fun, it makes us feel good, and it allows us to connect with others. We encourage all women and girls to celebrate the benefits that sport and physical activity brings to their lives.
SATPE, working alongside Active Scotland have produced a schools pack to help support schools to support and participate in the week, and are offering the chance of a host of prizes for schools who take part. Scottish Women & Girls in Sport Competition
SATPE is excited to announce our latest competition for Scottish Women & Girls in Sport week!
Sheli McCoy, aka Sabre from the BBC Show Gladiators has put together a Rise and Shine Daily Workout to celebrate the week and make sure girls across Scotland join her in being active every day! A video will launch on Monday so you can work out along with Sheli. Keep an eye on our website and social media for updates!
But that’s not all!
Any school who submits evidence of their school taking part will be entered into a competition where you can win:
First prize: A school visit from Sheli herself!
Second Prize: Signed Sabre cards!
Schools should send their videos to president@satpe.co.uk to evidence their participation and enter the competition.
